What We Do

We gather for weekly meals, Bible studies, book groups. We also serve our local community, go out on social outings, and have retreats. Here’s some highlights of what we do, check out our calendar to find out about special events coming up.

Weekly Gatherings (resuming Jan 2020):

In response to COVID-19 and the health guidelines adopted by UPenn, we have moved our programming online. For access please reach out to either Megan or Shelton.

  • Community Dinner : Wednesdays online at 6:30pm (dinner/chat)
  • Grad Student Book Group: Thursdays online at 4:30 pm
  • Drop-by for lunch and Bible Study: Fridays online from 12-2pm
  • Monthly Multi Faith Movie Night: TBD each month, check facebook for regular updates

Dana How Scholars Mentoring Program

We partner with Penn’s Upward Bound program to mentor West Philadelphia high school students.

Slanguage (Currently meeting on Zoom)

Slanguage is a free ESL class for non-native english speakers, their spouses, and other international community members near the University of Pennsylvania and greater Philadelphia area. It is designed to create a space to help improve English skills and to ask questions. The class is taught by Dr. Bill Kelly and meets Tuesdays from 2:30 – 4:30, this includes discussion of current events, music, and a time for questions. You can visit their Facegroup to learn more.

Queer Christian Fellowship
